Development
- Each one of our supplement formulations is developed with board-certified veterinary nutritionists (DACVIM). These specialists are veterinarians who have completed advanced training and earned additional board certification through the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, with a focus on nutrition. We believe your pet deserves the depth of expertise and care that comes from board-certified specialists in companion animal nutrition—not simply a “veterinarian recommended” endorsement.
- We carefully select each ingredient to play a clear role in supporting your dog’s well-being. We don't include ingredients to chase trends or look good to humans (sometimes called "label engineering").
- We include minimal inactive ingredients with no fillers, artificial colors, or flavors.
Sourcing & Manufacturing
- We don't sell off-the-shelf or mass-produced products with our name on them ("white labeling").
- Each of our products is made in the USA from US and globally sourced ingredients. We don't source any active or inactive ingredients from China, either directly or through our suppliers.
- We use only the true, beneficial part of every ingredient—never cheaper substitutes, fillers, or ineffective plant parts. For example, when we say ‘sunflower,’ we mean the nutrient-rich seed, not the stalk or root.
Quality
- Each ingredient we use is backed by up-to-date Certificates of Analysis ("CoA's"). CoA's are documents that verify the quality and composition of an ingredient, including important metrics such as purity, potency, and the absence of contaminants.
- Every product batch is lab-tested for quality and purity before we ship it.
- Wildflower Pets is a National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) member. NASC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of companion animals through strict quality standards and best practices for the animal supplement industry.
